The preschool experience deepens in the 3s class, where children begin to expand their independence and sense of identity. At TBOP, we embrace the natural curiosity of three-year-olds through a curriculum rich in stories, art, dramatic play, and collaborative projects.
Our Fireflies explore early literacy by recognizing letters in their names, engaging in read-alouds, and retelling stories through dramatic play. They build fine motor strength through painting, drawing, and hands-on crafts. Cooking projects, like making latkes with a buddy class, introduce basic math, science, and teamwork in fun, meaningful ways.
Social-emotional learning is a central focus at this stage. Children practice kindness, self-expression, and inclusion as they build friendships and navigate classroom life. Our preschool curriculum for three-year-olds blends Jewish values with universal themes, helping children grow into thoughtful, confident learners ready for the next step.
